Gemini interactions will set off the HiLight visual notification system allowing for hands-free AI use

Hands-free Gemini interactions on Pixel 11 will show up on the Pixel 11’s visual notification system HiLight with a soft visual cue to show when Gemini is listening, thinking, and responding without having to look at your front screen.

HiLight is an array of LED lights placed around the rear camera flash. These lights alert the user when their Pixel 11 model is face down that they have a call or some other reason to pick up their handset.
