Fans of Samsung's clamshell foldable models are in for a treat very soon. The upcoming Galaxy Z Flip 8 is just around the corner, with Samsung reportedly set to unveil it at a Galaxy Unpacked event in London on July 22, 2026.
Recent rumors suggest the entire Galaxy Z lineup may be getting a price hike this year. If true, the Galaxy Z Flip 8 with 256GB of storage could land at $1,299.99, compared to $1,099.99 on the Z Flip 7.
But don't lose hope: during the pre-order period, Samsung, Amazon, and some of the biggest US carriers are expected to roll out impressive discounts, helping you upgrade at a lower price.
Want to know which retailers will launch the best Galaxy Z Flip 8 deals? You've come to the right place.

Traditionally, Samsung gives the most generous discounts on its premium phones. This tendency is very likely to continue in 2026 when the tech giant launches its upcoming Z Flip 8.
Similarly to the Galaxy Z Fold 8 lineup, the official store might give users a free storage upgrade, saving them $120 right off the bat. Trade-ins will most likely be available as well, allowing users to grab an additional discount of up to $600.
I should point out that Samsung actually drives interest for its premium phones even before their announcement. Usually, it opens reservations about two weeks prior to the Unpacked event, which should be somewhere around July 8, 2026.
It's completely free to sign up for the Z Flip 8, and it doesn't come with any commitments. That said, it gives you extra perks, such as a chance to win $5,000 and a $50 reservation gift.
Pre-order deals to expect at Amazon
Amazon is one of the largest online retailers that frequently launches competitive offers on the best Samsung phones. I see no reason for that to change this year. Judging from the past, the e-commerce giant might bundle the clamshell foldable phone with a $200 Amazon gift card.
Last year, it also allowed users to grab a free storage upgrade, though I'm not sure whether this particular extra will return.
Pre-order deals to expect at Verizon
Prefer a carrier-locked device? In that case, you might want to consider upgrading through a carrier. That way, you can get a discount on the phone while pairing it with a qualifying plan.
For customers on the Verizon network, the upcoming Galaxy Z Flip 8 could be available for as much as $1,100 off. This is based on the carrier's promotions from last year, which landed the model at $0.00/mo, no trade-in required.
All you had to do last year was select the Unlimited Ultimate plan, and I assume a similar promo is very likely this year. Keep in mind that Verizon rolls out the discounts over 36 monthly bill credits, so it's not a straight-up price cut on the phone.
Pre-order deals to expect at T-Mobile

Those on the T-Mobile network could expect a similar discount on the upcoming Galaxy Z Flip 8. The Android phone might be available at up to $1,100 off. While the promo will likely be available at the T-Mobile website, you can also get your new phone with a T-Mobile plan at the official store.
Last year, T-Mobile required users to pick a qualifying plan and provide an eligible trade-in in good condition. If the carrier follows a similar approach this year, you'll probably need to meet the same requirements.
In addition, if you upgrade through the official store, you may also get additional savings, such as a $50 reservation gift.
Pre-order deals to expect at AT&T
Traditionally, pre-order discounts at AT&T include trade-ins and a suitable plan. However, this network operator allows users to trade in select Galaxy phones from any year and in any condition. This makes AT&T's pre-order deals on the Z Flip 8 incredibly attractive to customers who are already with this carrier and have an old Galaxy phone they no longer need.
Last year's Galaxy Z Flip 7 promo allowed new and existing customers to save up to $1,100 when they spare a Galaxy S, Galaxy Z, or Galaxy Note model. The promotional credit is applied over 36 months, piling up your savings over time.
I expect a similar promotion to be available once Samsung unveils the Z Flip 8, though we'll have to wait and see if that prediction is ultimately accurate.
