Zynga teams up with People Magazine for Crosswords with Friends trivia game

One of the biggest games developers, Zynga has just released a new mobile game in collaboration with People Magazine, Crosswords with Friends. As the name suggests, this is a puzzle game that offers players the change to improved their trivia skills by successfully completing a comprehensive array of crosswords.

Crosswords with Friends can be played on iOS and Android devices and doesn't require players to pay anything in order to download and install it. The game's trivia questions are focused on pop cultures, but fresh daily puzzles with new themes every day of the weeks are available for players.

Movie Monday, TV Tuesday, Wayback Wednesday, Top 40 Thursday, Sports Fan Friday, Smartypants Saturday, and now People Sunday are just some of the themes you'll encounter when solving a crossword puzzle in the game.

To make things funnier, Zynga added a social aspect to the game, as players can challenge their friends and check the leaderboard to see who solved the daily puzzle the fastest. As mentioned, the game is free to play, but in-app purchases are available for additional content and in-game currency.
