Zauba listings confirm screen sizes for the Samsung Galaxy S7 and Samsung Galaxy S7 edge
Zauba is the website that tracks imports into, and exports out of India. We've often been able to confirm some information based on these listings. Yesterday, two new smartphone imports into the country were posted on Zauba, and the model numbers indicate that they are the Samsung Galaxy S7 (SM-G930R4) and the Samsung Galaxy S7 edge (SM-G935R4).

Based on these listings, the Samsung Galaxy S7 is equipped with a 5.1-inch screen. This confirms the screen-size that was listed on a recent AnTuTu benchmark test. The Samsung Galaxy S7 edge will carry a 5.5-inch display, according to Zauba.  Both screens should carry a QHD 1440 x 2560 resolution.

According to the Zauba listings, both models were shipped into India for testing with their valid IMEI numbers withheld. Two units of each model were received by Samsung. The Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 edge are each valued at $351.57 for each unit shipped into India. Since these were merely samples, as noted by Zauba, the pricing shouldn't be used as a guide to determine what Samsung will charge for the two models.

We expect to see the Samsung Galaxy S7 and Samsung Galaxy S7 edge unveiled on February 21st during the Samsung Unpacked 2016 event. That happens to be the day before MWC kicks off in Barcelona.
