Temple Run gets quick update for Windows Phone models, Live Tile problem repaired
You know how you look forward to something, and then when it comes you are let down? That is how Windows Phone users must have felt yesterday when the long awaited game Temple Run finally made it to the platform. A number of problems popped up immeduately, including the lack of support for handsets sporting just 512MB of RAM. Other problems included an issue with stuttering and no support for Xbox LIVE. Additionally, Tile pinning to the Start screen was blacked out.

Version 1.5 of Temple Run for Windows Phone was pushed out this morning and it does take care of the problem that prevented users from pinning the game to the Start screen Tiles. If you tried to pin the game to the Start screen yesterday, you will need to un-pin the game and re-pin it to the screen. Once that is done, you should see the Tiki image on the screen. Hopefully the other issues, including the lack of support for 512MB models, will soon be addressed in another update.
