T-Mobile's HTC One (M8) gets the HTC EYE Experience update
Owners of the HTC One (M8) under T-Mobile will be happy to know that the carrier is now pushing an OTA update that brings Android 4.4.4 and HTC's proprietary EYE Experience software update. HTC started rolling out the update for unlocked One (M8) units last week and it seems that T-Mo is the first US carrier to push it to its version of the handset.
The EYE Experience update brings a few of HTC's brand-new camera features, introduced with the Desire 820 and Desire EYE, including Face Tracking and Screen Share, Split Capture, Face Fusion, and others (check out HTC's promo videos for the EYE Experience features below).
The update is supposed to roll out to most of the manufacturer's upper mid-range and above devices from the past 18 months, so if you own another top-shelf phone from HTC, fear not, the EYE Experience should be coming to you soon(ish).
