T-Mobile posts support page for the HTC One M8 for Windows; phone to launch November 9th?
T-Mobile has posted a support page for the HTC One M8 for Windows. For T-Mobile customers, the phone will offer Wi-Fi calling, which allows you to make/take voice calls while using a Wi-Fi connection. This feature is great when you are in an area where you struggle to find connectivity to your carrier's pipeline. You might find it useful in certain areas of your home or office that are normally "dead zones".
The HTC One M8 for Windows has been a Verizon exclusive, so it is nice to see it getting some lovin' from another major U.S. operator. A leaked internal document shows a November 9th launch date for the Windows Phone 8.1 stunner. You might have also noticed that the Nexus 6 is shown on the leaked document with a November 12th release date for T-Mobile.
The HTC One M8 for Windows Phone features a 5 inch screen with a 1080 x 1920 resolution. A quad-core 2.3GHz Snapdragon 801 is under the hood, with 2GB of RAM inside. 32GB of native storage is on board, along with a 128GB capacity microSD slot. The 4MP Ultrapixel camera adorns the back, and the Duo camera allows you to move the focal point of a picture after it has been processed, Lytro style. A 5MP "selfie" snapper is up front, and the 2600mAh battery powers the whole shebang. With Windows Phone 8.1 pre-installed, personal assistant Cortana is ready to give you a hand by answering questions, giving you directions, telling you stock prices or sports scores, and much more.
