With all the same features as the model we recently reviewed, both models are PTT using Nextel Direct Connect. On a two year contract, both versions cost $149.99 after a $230 instant discount and a $100 mail-in rebate. To get the mail-in rebate, a BlackBerry data plan or an Everything plan, Data Premier add-on or PRO Pack add-on must be bought along with the phone. If you have to turn off your cameraphone every morning because your firm bans picture taking, a camera-less version of the 8350i allows you to have all the great messaging capabilities of a BlackBerry at your desk without your boss worrying about you taking spy shots.
Mint Mobile is now allowing you to get whichever plan you like for either three, six, or 12 months for just $15/mo. If you go for the six-month unlimited service, for instance, you'll now have to pay just $90 upfront instead of $210.
