SeatGuru lets you pick the best price and seat possible for your upcoming flight

So the gang at TripAdvisor holed up in a studio, and a mountain of discarded coffee cups and pizza boxes later, it came up with the one app to rule airplane seating! This is SeatGuru and it helps you find best ticket prices, pick ideal seats, and obtain real-time flight alerts. To aid you in this, the app comes with high resolution seat maps featuring amenity information, community-submitted photos, and reviews. The app contains over 700 maps for around 100 different airlines and offers insights from thousands of passenger reviews to make your decision with.

Shopping for the lowest fares is carried out via a flight search tool backed by TripAdvisor, which is a well-established app that's most certain to find you the best offer available. Before booking tickets, you are able to consult the seat map of your scheduled flight and reserve the best seat available – which is quite important for long flights.

SeatGuru is free and available on Android and iOS.
