Samsung Galaxy S5 to get Android 4.4.3 this month, next month for Samsung Galaxy S4

Samsung Galaxy S5 to get Android 4.4.3 this month, next month for Samsung Galaxy S4
With stock Android devices like the Nexus models, and the Google Play edition phones already updated to Android 4.4.3, it is time for the newest build of Android to be let loose on unlocked handsets. According to a leaked document, the SM-G900H, an unlocked version of the Samsung Galaxy S5, is expected to receive Android 4.4.3 later this month. The model is compatible with some U.S., Canadian and Latin American carriers.

Another version of the Samsung Galaxy S5 receiving Android 4.4.3 this month, is the SM-G900F, the international unlocked model of Sammy's current flagship handset. Since carriers test the updates before pushing them out to their subscribers, if you bought your Galaxy S5 from the wireless operator you pay each month, don't expect to see Android 4.4.3 on your phone for some time.

On the other hand, if you own the unlocked international LTE enabled version of the Samsung Galaxy S4 (GT-i9506), your update will be making its way to you next month. The leaked document reveals that the Android 4.4.3 build is in final testing for this device.

Android 4.4.3 is a minor update and Samsung Galaxy S5 and Samsung Galaxy S4 users will probably have to settle for bug fixes and performance updates.

This is why I will always buy my phones unlocked. I just don't want a carrier controlling my software updates and delaying them by months...

I flashed my tmobile S5 with Alliance rom, best thing I have ever done. Battery is brilliant, I can customize it the way I want, and the best part is the OTA updates.

The Alliance ROM looks pretty awesome and is KNOX free: "Alliance ROM comes completely de-bloated (no bloatware) while keeping most of the core Samsung apps with 100% KNOX-free. The major core of Aliiance ROM comes with its Alliance Manager and ROM Customizer app." http://galaxys5root.com/sm-g900f-galaxy-s5-custom-roms/alliance-rom-for-galaxy-s5-sm-g900fg900ig900tg900w8/

Mee too... He has been the best GK from FWC 2010... And today he was not the shadow of what he is...

Yup...very disappointed... Iker casillas is the prime reason...he never acted like a professional goal keeper that he is...he was lazy too.. And another reason is inclusion of deigo costa which made spain to change it successful strategy....and he din justify that...

Yes, Casillas was caught napping TWO times, and that cost Spain.

Spain started the FWC 2010 with loss against swiss...then they went on to win the title.... Hopefully they do the same this time...

I blame Del Bosque. He left bunch of Spain's best players out of the WC squad, Isco, Llorente(shockingly he went with Torres), Navas and Caravajal. Then came his starting lineup, Xavi is too old and inconsistent to play in such an important match, he is a shadow of the player he was 4 years ago, Koke was a better choice imo. Villa should ve started for Costa, Iniesta should have been played in his regular position in midfield and keep Pedro on the Left. Casillas isn't the goalie he once was and De Gea would've been a better choice to start with. Still, I am sure they will bounce back, it's good that this loss came now and not in the knockout stages.

I got an unlocked S4 mini and I don't think I'll be getting 4.4.3 soon ); Crap, Samsung! I should have gotten myself an LG G2 mini. Rant done. Like Samsung even pay attention to this site. Lol
