Samsung Galaxy A52 5G deals and availability

The Galaxy A52 5G landed on this side of the pond, after the both the 4G and 5G models got already released in the UK and Europe, and there are some trade-in deals thrown in by Samsung for a good measure. The phone also got released on T-Mobile and Metro, while Verizon got its less well-appointed brethren the A42.

What caught our attention in particular is the base Galaxy A52 4G price that is a tad lower than its predecessor's launch tag. Samsung hinted that it will be lowering its phone prices this year with the Galaxy S21 series that is on average $200 cheaper than the Galaxy S20 models, and the A-series now follows suit, at least in Europe.

Last year, the Galaxy A51, for instance, was released at $399.99 base price, and the A51 5G went for a Benjamin more. Verizon's special UW version with mmWave modem and antennas was the most expensive one at $549.99.

The $369.99 tag that B&H has posted for the A52 4G is arguably a very low price to pay even for a 4G LTE-only 6.5-inch handset sporting a smooth 90Hz Super AMOLED display, as well as an IP67 water and dust-resistant construction, a large 4,500mAh battery, and a 64MP primary rear-facing camera. Compared to its $400 predecessor, the Galaxy A52 also packs an upgraded Snapdragon 720 processor and faster 25W charging while obviously running Android 11 with One UI 3 on top on the software side of things out the box.

As you can see above, the Galaxy A52 5G pricing in the UK is also slightly lower than its predecessor the A51 5G commanded at launch.

Тhis trend didn't keep in America, though, where Samsung posted a $499.99 MSRP tags, so the Galaxy A52 5G shipped for the same launch price as its predecessor, yet it is one of the most affordable and well-appointed 5G phones for the price in the US.
