Samsung Galaxy A10e now available at AT&T; phone is $1 per month with the addition of a new line

Last month, Samsung announced that three of its red hot Galaxy A mid-rangers would be coming to the U.S. The first of the three, the Galaxy A50, is available from Verizon and Sprint. That leaves the Galaxy A20 and Galaxy A10e and the latter is now available from AT&T (via Android Police). This phone features a notched 5.83-inch display with a 720 x 1560 resolution and a 19.5:9 aspect ratio. Samsung's own Exynos 7884 SoC is under the hood along with 2GB of memory and 32GB of expandable storage. Those requiring additional storage can use the 512GB microSD slot. An 8MP camera adorns the back of the phone and there is a 5MP front-facing selfie snapper. A 3000mAh battery keeps the lights on and Android 9 Pie is pre-installed.

AT&T is selling the phone for $209.99 or AT&T subscribers can make 30 monthly payments of $7. Those who like to upgrade often can buy the handset using AT&T's new Next Up plan. Under the terms of Next Up, the customer pays $7 per month plus an additional $5 per month. After 50% of the phone's retail price is paid off (not including the $5), the unit can be traded in for a new model. AT&T also has another deal available for a limited time. With the addition of a new line, AT&T will issue $180 in bill credits over 30 months ($6 a month) reducing the price to just $1 per month. The handset is available in Charcoal Black.

The Galaxy A line got off to a hot start after launching in March. Over the first 70 days, Samsung sold over 5 million units generating more than $1 billion in revenue. The phones in this series have viable cameras and larger than usual batteries. While you really can't tell this from the specs on the entry-level Galaxy A10e, let's take a look at the Galaxy A50 available at Verizon and Sprint. That phone comes with a 6.4-inch tall and thin Super AMOLED display with a resolution of 1080 x 2340 and an aspect ratio of 19.5:9. The Exynos 9610 SoC powers the handset which includes 4GB of memory and 128GB of storage.

The triple-camera setup in back includes a 25MP primary camera with an aperture of f/1.7, an 8MP Ultra-wide camera and a 5MP depth sensor. There is a 25MP selfie snapper in front and a 4000mAh battery. That model is priced at $349.99 although new and existing Verizon customers who add a new line can pick up the Galaxy A50 for 24 monthly payments of $10 after a bill credit is applied. At Sprint, the phone is $10 per month using the carrier's 18-month Flex Lease plan.

MySmartPrice reports that the Wi-Fi Alliance has certified what appears to be two new Galaxy A units, the SM-A561F and the SM-A562N. Like the Galaxy A10/Galaxy A10e and Galaxy A20/Galaxy A20e, this could be another "e" variant of an existing Galaxy A model, or something entirely new. Just the other day, a benchmark of the Galaxy A90 (SM-A908N) revealed that the phone will carry 6GB of memory, most likely paired with 128GB of storage. A 4500mAh battery could power this handset with support for 45W fast charging. The Snapdragon 855 Mobile Platform will be driving the Galaxy A90. The latter's triple-camera setup could include a 48MP primary sensor, an 8MP wide-angle camera, and a 5MP depth sensor.
