Rogers is the first in North America to land the Motorola FLIPOUT
T-Mobile customers waiting patiently for the Motorola CHARM can look to the north with watchful eyes since Rogers has finally landed the equally eye catching Motorola FLIPOUT. They're the first in North America to offer the squarish shaped Android powered smartphone – plus it's an exclusive device to them. Needless to say that it's quite refreshing to see Motorola opt to side with different form factors that are rarely seen in the Android front since a vast majority rely on the typical slate form factor. If the FLIPOUT manages to attract you with its hip looking form, you can snatch one up through the carrier for the 3-year on-contract price of $30. As much as that looks nice right now, you'll probably also want to consider its no-contract price of $375 which can looking like a darling when you take into account your tethered monthly cost. Not only will it present you with a physical QWERTY when you literally flip out the display, but it'll be running Android 2.1 with Motorola's slightly less intrusive flavor of the MOTOBLUR interface. Luckily for T-Mobile customers, it shouldn't be long before they experience yet another interesting device in the Motorola CHARM.
