Report: Samsung Galaxy S8 pre-orders to begin April 10th
The latest rumored specs for the Galaxy S8 indicate that it is equipped with a 5.8-inch Super AMOLED screen, carrying a resolution of 1440 x 2960. In the U.S., the phone will be powered by the Snapdragon 835 featuring an octa-core CPU and the Adreno 540 GPU. 4GB of RAM is said to be inside along with 64GB of native storage. A 12MP camera will adorn the back of the unit with an 8MP front-facing snapper for selfies and video chats. A 3000mAh battery is expected to keep the lights on.
The Samsung Galaxy S8+ will have a larger 6.2-inch screen and a larger 3500mAh battery to light up the larger screen. Otherwise, the specs on the two models are the same. That includes the expected IP68 certification rating, fingerprint and iris scanners, Type-C USB port and a 3.5mm earphone jack.
