Motorola officially announced its new rugged iDEN clamshell phone – i580, which was approved by the FCC last month. The handset is designed to meet military specifications for blowing, rain, dust, shock and vibration. • 1.3 mega pixels camera with video capture
  • Bluetooth
  • microSD memory expansion slot
  • push-to-talk
  • GPS for location-based services
  • Selective Dynamic Group Call support

Motorola i580 also includes new PTT features, such as:

  • Push-to-Smart Replies - allows users to send text messages via PTT
  • Push-to-Meet - allows users to send Datebook reminders via PTT
  • Push-to-X (PTX) Manager – allows users to control the new Push-To features from one, streamlined, intuitive menu
