Save $50 on the 10-inch Lenovo Smart Display at Costco (UPDATE)

Lenovo's Smart Displays launched today. As we told you yesterday, there is a version that carries an 8-inch display, and another model with a 10-inch screen. Powered by the Google Assistant virtual personal assistant, the device can do the same tasks as a Google Home smart speaker, except with a visual aspect to it. The Lenovo Smart Device also features YouTube and Google Photos integration.

The 10-inch model is priced at $249.99 by Lenovo, but is already $50 cheaper at membership warehouse club Costco. But a membership to Costco costs $60 a year, so if you do decide to take advantage of this deal, you should be planning to do some additional shopping at Costco. If you're not thrilled with the prospect of paying for a Costco membership, keep in mind that the warehouse club usually offer some tasty mobile tech deals during the holiday shopping season. If you decide to purchase your Lenovo Smart Display from Costco, you'll probably get back the extra $10 in future savings come November and December.

UPDATE:While the deal at Costco has sold out, Best Buy is tossing in a $20 gift card with the purchase of the 8-inch ($199.99) or 10-inch ($249.99) Lenovo Smart Displays.

While Costco doesn't charge for shipping or handling, you can pay $10 for a faster delivery. And yes, you will still be charged tax on your purchase.
