Latest Samsung commercials show why the Galaxy Tab S may be better than Apple's iPad
Not long after releasing a Galaxy S5 commercial that called iPhone users “wall huggers”, Samsung now has two other commercials that compares some of its newest devices to Apple products - though this time it’s doing it in a more subtle way.

The new commercials are showcasing the Galaxy Tab S series’ strengths, including the high contrast ratio of Super AMOLED displays, and the ability to multitask. According to Samsung, “compared to many LCDs”, a Super AMOLED display provides “100 times higher contrast.”

As you’ll see in the videos embedded below, Samsung pits its Galaxy Tab S against an unnamed tablet that looks just like Apple’s iPad Air (which, as you may know, features an LCD display, and can’t properly multitask).

Both the Galaxy Tab S 10.5 and Galaxy Tab S 8.4 are available to buy in the US since the end of June. Samsung is selling the 10.5-inch model for $499, and the smaller 8.4-inch one for $399.

Nice joke, Mr. Funnyguy ! Have you used this tablet ? Simply bashing without any proof is stupidity. Ask any GS5 owner TouchWiz doesn't lag anymore.

I use this tablet every day, I am a sales advisor in a electronics store. This tablet is the same as the previous galaxy tables the only difference is the super amoled display. The pre installed videos on the galaxy tablets are specially edited to look gorgeous on the amoled screen, but the ordinary hd films look just slightly better than the competition. On the contrary the tab laggs on the magazine UI, it laggs when you browse the web, it laggs when you open office suites and the frame rate is low. Another problem is the low performance of the gpu...

If you serius, you could install other launcher such as NOVA launcher. But I know this SuperAMOLED is really threatening the feeling of iPAD user, because suddenly iPAD user feel that their 'inferior' & 'premium' device became less 'inferior' and less 'premium'. You're feeling toward samsung is expected to be that. Especially if you watching your friend one by one put the ipad in the attic and start using these beautiful SuperAMOLED tablet.

Nova launcher only makes the performance of the main screen smoother, it doesn't stop apps from stuttering and lagging.

I using my note pro 12.2 in bed replying to your bullsh*t comment. This is 2014 not 2009. Then I would have used an iPad cause its the only tablet around. Only Apple fans would distort fact and has a need to chat the Android lag mantra. I know why I choose note pro 12.2 over iPad Air. I want to use the large screen and the multi windows to learn a new language thru writing it with the S pen. Can iPad Air do that?

Lol the note pro is a complete waste of money... It costs 700$ and runs mobile os, android. For the same money you can buy a proper computers example surface pro 3 that kills your note pro in every aspect...

Wow. If his comment is bulls hit then what would that made of yours. You can use a pen with ipad, there are many sold even with pressure sensitivity like the Adobe one. As for multi windows and learning a language please provide proof. I have both samsung and apple products. And your so called multi window mode is limited to a very small number of apps and there is no way you used a language learning program with multi window. Only windows tablets so far has fully implemented multi window. I bet you don't even own a note pro. And rumors has is multi window is coming to ipad in the next iteration of ios. And then a**holes like you will come and compare it to the fake limited mutiny window samsung advertises.

Got it today, traded my Tab Pro 8.4 and an extra $300 for the 10.5 version and I LOVE it. A 10.5 inch Amoled screen is just so pleasant to look at, and now I can't wait for the 18 hour flight to back home, the Tab will be there to ease my flight.

You used to be a galaxy tab user so you are used to lagg and stutter that's why the tab s looks great in your eyes. For ipad users though changing to samsung is a huge downgrade to the quality of the experience...
