LG's new flagship smartphone, the V30 is shaping up to be a great device and the South Korean company is trying to better handle this new found success. There's so much good stuff about the V30 that LG wants everyone to know what it can do.

In that regard, LG and artist Michael Murphy have teamed up to highlight the rich multimedia capabilities of the new LG V30 smartphone using kinetic art. But what is kinetic art?

Well, it's no shame in not knowing that kinetic art relies on motion to create an effect. Still, the art doesn’t actually move, only the viewer does, so when viewed from a different angle, the artwork transforms into something altogether different.

This kind of immersive art is mostly experienced in person at exhibitions, but for those who cannot attend Murphy’s exhibit, LG recorded two videos that show two of hits works interpreting the V30 video and audio capabilities.

As many of you probably know by now, the LG V30 has some powerful multimedia features under the hood. Among them, LG mentions the F1.6 aperture Crystal Clear glass lens, dual cameras with a 120-degree wide angle lens and minimal edge distortion, Hi-Fi Quad DAC and sound tuning by audio experts at B&O PLAY.

You can find our thoughts about all the multimedia capabilities of the LG V30 and much more in our full review.
