LG uses artist's kinetic art to highlight LG V30's rich multimedia capabilities

LG's new flagship smartphone, the V30 is shaping up to be a great device and the South Korean company is trying to better handle this new found success. There's so much good stuff about the V30 that LG wants everyone to know what it can do.

In that regard, LG and artist Michael Murphy have teamed up to highlight the rich multimedia capabilities of the new LG V30 smartphone using kinetic art. But what is kinetic art?

Well, it's no shame in not knowing that kinetic art relies on motion to create an effect. Still, the art doesn’t actually move, only the viewer does, so when viewed from a different angle, the artwork transforms into something altogether different.

This kind of immersive art is mostly experienced in person at exhibitions, but for those who cannot attend Murphy’s exhibit, LG recorded two videos that show two of hits works interpreting the V30 video and audio capabilities.

As many of you probably know by now, the LG V30 has some powerful multimedia features under the hood. Among them, LG mentions the F1.6 aperture Crystal Clear glass lens, dual cameras with a 120-degree wide angle lens and minimal edge distortion, Hi-Fi Quad DAC and sound tuning by audio experts at B&O PLAY.

You can find our thoughts about all the multimedia capabilities of the LG V30 and much more in our full review.

So how much is LG paying you guys for these LG V30 posts? Its crystal clear now that they are paying you to keep them in the spotlight.

I see nothing wrong with a tech site being paid to give a certain product more news coverage - as long as it's bias-free, of course. Every business exists for the purpose of making profit... no?

Yes, but they should show that its an ad. I'm just noticing alot of 'attention' posts about the V30. Other phones get mentioned because they update/release something, but with the V30 its basically just an ad.

There are most likely twice as many posts about Apple on this site than any other smartphone company combined.

Ok, ok, this is good LG, but add a narrator showcasing what the LG V30 offers in those Ad Spots. Because I can already see most Consumers wondering what a bunch of conjoined Cameras and Video Cameras and musical instruments have to do with a phone? Tell them the story, doesn’t have to be drawn out, but just simply condensed to what the LG V30 is offering and Consumers would want to learn more about it. You got the video part good, now get a Narrator.

Wish these guys had something to kinetically sell phones. They can't get a phone to sell well even if they paid the customer to use it...
