Huawei IDEOS X5 to hit CES tomorrow

Huawei is expected to launch its newest additionto the mid-range Android smartphone range in the States tomorrow, theHuawei IDEOS X5. The 3.8-inch IDEOS X5 will feature Android 2.2 Froyorunning on a 800MHz Qualcomm MSM7230 CPU.

The handset will come with a capacitivetouchscreen sporting a resolution of 480 x 800, while a 5 megapixelcamera will cover your photo and video ambitions with 720p HD videorecording. Connectivity on the device includes HSPA, Wi-Fi, Bluetoothand GPS. The IDEOS X5 has an 1500 mAh battery and 4GB of internalmemory. The handset is already out in the Land Down Under and isrolling out in Hong Kong between January 13th and 19th.We will take a look at the phone as soon as the expo officially openstomorrow, so stay tuned!
