The new Pixel 11 series is right around the corner. We're about a week away from the official unveiling on August 12, and Google has released the first official video teaser for the Pixel 11 Pro Fold!

See the Pixel 11 Pro Fold in motion for the first time

After many leaks and rumors, we now have an official video teaser for one of the most exciting models in the Pixel 11 family. The video (which you can see above) offers a glimpse at the Google's upcoming foldable.

We get to see the Pixel 11 Pro Fold's silhouette and part of the inner folding screen. The rear of the phone is also visible briefly before the video fades out to black.

The Pixel 11 Pro Fold design is official

Overall, the teaser corroborates most of the design leaks we've had so far. The Pixel 11 Pro Fold is shaping up to be a thin and stylish device, following Google's design language.

Earlier this month, leaked marketing images (by Evan Blass) showed the foldable much more clearly, revealing the design of the camera housing, the back panel, and the metal frame of the phone, as well as the new Pixel Glow LED element in the camera bump.

The design closely resembles last year's Pixel 10 Pro Fold, and it appears to be an evolution, rather than a revolution, at least design-wise.

Pixel 11 Pro Fold expected specs and features

The Pixel 11 Pro Fold is expected to feature some changes, compared to its predecessor. The camera bar is expected to have less excess metal around the lens cutouts.

The aforementioned Pixel Glow LED sits in a bigger housing in the top-left corner of the camera system. The exact functionality is still unknown, but some industry insiders have suggested that it's a new notification system inside the LED flash.

The Pixel 11 Pro Fold is expected to come equipped with Google's in-house developed Tensor G6 chipser and Titan M3 security chip. More advanced M16 material is expected for the 8-inch display, possibly resulting in higher brightness and better efficiency.

Pricing for the Pixel 11 Pro Fold has now leaked via a French outlet. European figures put it at €1,999 for 256GB, €2,129 for 512GB, and €2,389 for 1TB, quite an increase compared to last year's Pixel 10 Pro Fold which started at $1,799.

Should you be excited about the Pixel 11 Pro Fold?

Even though the design remains largely the same, the Pixel 11 Pro Fold could bring some interesting features to the table. The Pixel Glow LED looks like an interesting take on Nothing's glyph interface idea, and there might be other software tricks on board.

The next Google Tensor G6 chipset features 2 nm TSMC manufacturing process, a 1+4+2 CPU core layout, and a MediaTek M90 5G modem, and has the potential to bring the Pixel 11 Pro Fold closer to the Qualcomm-equipped rivals.

The price hike is a bit unfortunate but completely understandable, given the current market situation. What do you think about the Pixel 11 Pro Fold? Would you consider buying one at that price and with the specs and features we're currently expecting?
