As we told you earlier today, the Motorola Moto Z4 is now official. An unlocked version of the device, priced at $499.99, can be pre-ordered from Motorola's website. It will be released on June 6th. Verizon will offer the phone on June 13th, priced at just $240 (24 monthly payments of $10) with an additional line. Like the Moto Z3, the new model can connect to Verizon's Ultra-Wideband 5G network by attaching the $199.99 5G Moto Mod accessory to the phone.

The first ad for the Moto Z4 has been released, which touts it as a 5G Upgradable phone. It also promotes the handset's Night Vision mode for taking pictures under low-light conditions and the 25MP front-facing selfie snapper. Other features included in the ad include the 6.4-inch waterdrop notched OLED display. The latter carries a resolution of 1080 x 2340 allowing the screen to have the modern tall and thin look. And yes, the Moto Z4 features an in-display fingerprint scanner as pointed out in the spot.

The commercial also mentions the up to two-day battery life Motorola says that Moto Z4 users can achieve with the unit's 3600mAh battery. And Turbo Charge will give users hours of battery life after just minutes of charging. Lastly, Motorola brags that the MSRP of $499.99 is half the price of many flagship phones. Of course, the Moto Z4 isn't really a flagship phone as it is powered by the Snapdragon 675 Mobile Platform, the latest member of the mid-range Snapdragon 600 series line.
