Google Drive now offers discounted annual subscriptions for the 100GB and 1TB tiers

1comment

Google is introducing annual billing options to Google Drive, initially available only for the two highest storage options. Google Drive was until now a per-month subscription service, but with the Google is now hoping to incentivise users of the 100GB and 1TB Drive tiers by bringing them annual billing options and discounts.

The new yearly subscription schemes will shave some 17 percent off the total you’d pay for a year for either the 100GB or 1TB storage options on Google Drive. Ditching the flat monthly fee of $2 or $10 respectively, you can now get 100GB or 1TB of Google Drive storage for $20 or $100 respectively, instead of the previous total of $24 or $120 in monthly installments.

If you’ve been on a monthly subscription for Google Drive, follow the link below to see if the new program is available in your region, as it could be a staged roll-out.
