The Galaxy Z Flip 8 is right around the corner, Samsung will unveil its new foldables on July 22, but the rumor mill never stops. The latest leak reveals three color options for the new clamshell foldable, and one of them is quite hip. The leak comes from Android Headlines in the form of official Galaxy Z Flip 8 renders. Here they are!
Galaxy Z Flip 8 leaked renders show three colors
The leaked renders, allegedly official, show the phone from all angles. The Galaxy Z Flip 8 looks very similar to its predecessor, the Galaxy Z Flip 7, but that's not a surprise. Previous leaks, such as the CAD renders, hinted toward Samsung sticking to the same design with the Galaxy Z Flip8.
However, this is the first time we see the phone's official colors, and one of them is quite fresh. The colors in question are Cream, Graphite, and Pink, and you can see them in the photo gallery above.
While Cream and Graphite are quite restrained variants of the black and white options most companies stick to, Pink is quite hip. It's different from last year's Coral Red, and it's much lighter and more pastel.

Mint seems to be missing from the renders

There's one additional color the Galaxy Z Flip 8 is expected to arrive in — Mint. Just like last year, this hue will be Samsung exclusive, meaning you'll be able to get it through the online store at Samsung.com.

I personally like the Pink version the most but would've loved to see more color options. Samsung offers much more color variety on the non-folding Galaxy S series but, for some reason, sticks to just two or three colors for the foldable lineup.
Galaxy Z Flip 8 rumored specs

As previously mentioned, the phone looks just like its predecessor. The same main display with thin bezels, the hole-punch camera in the center of the flexible display, and the power/lock and volume up and down buttons on the right-hand side of the phone.
The same horizontally aligned cameras are surrounded by the cover screen, which grew in size and became edge-to-edge last year.
In terms of specs, the latest rumors suggest two chipset variants — one using the Exynos 2600 chip and the other the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 for Galaxy, for the global version and the US variant, respectively.
The phone is expected with 12GB of LPDDR5X RAM, a 6.9-inch foldable Dynamic LTPO AMOLED 2X main panel with a 120Hz refresh rate, a 4.1-inch cover screen with the same 120Hz refresh rate, and a 4,300mAh battery with 25W wired charging.
The camera system will most likely be carried over from the previous generation. This means the Galaxy Z Flip 8 will sport a 50MP wide camera and a 12MP ultrawide on its back.

These are the two words that circle around my head right now. Samsung has been so reluctant to make changes to its foldable lineup that when the company made the Z Fold 7 thinner, everyone lost their minds.
The Galaxy Z Flip got its biggest upgrade last year when Samsung finally stretched the cover screen edge-to-edge, wrapping around the main cameras. Other than that, it's been the same small and incremental upgrades: a new chipset, new AI features, new colors, and that's pretty much it.
The latest date from market analysts shows that people are buying book-style foldables even though flip phones are now almost as cheap as regular non-folding flagships, so Samsung's strategy makes sense. But this doesn't mean I like it.
