ESPN ScoreCenter now available in Android Market, Dah-Dah-Dah, Dah-Dah-Dah
For sports fans who want to know how good or bad their favorite team is doing, or if your monetary well being depends on the Lakers beating the Celtics by more than 5 points, ESPN brings its famous sports coverage to the Android Market and your phone. ESPN SportsCenter even has the little ticker on the bottom of the page, updating you on all the big sports news of the day. You can even select your favorite teams from each sport which allows you to see the results of their games before the rest of the contests. Each of the four major U.S. leagues are included as well as World Cup results, Tennis, Golf and Racing. The app gives you scores and not much more, so don't expect video highlights or pithy analysis-that is saved for the ESPN web site. But if you need a quick score for one reason or another, you can't go wrong with ScoreCenter which is available for free in the Android Market and in the App Store.
