EA's online cover-based shooter WarFriends is out on Android

WarFriends is an online tactical action game that saw a soft launch on iOS in April 2016. After some honing out of its gameplay mechanics and some balancing tweaks, the game is now ready for its global debut and has made its way over to Google Play as a free-to-play title.

WarFriends is a cover-based online shooter, where you’ll command an entire squad of heroes and build a deck of perk-changing WarCards to use against your enemies during combat. You can enlist friends to join your squad and fight alongside you in ranked online deathmatches, build and customize your own little army, and deploy choppers, tanks, drones, and other kinds of combat vehicles to aid you during the shootouts.

The game features numerous game modes, including 1v1 tactical combat battles, squad matches, and co-op. WarFreinds can be played quite adequately without paying a dime, but it offers in-app purchases for unlocking weapons and new cards.
