If you’re a Galaxy S8/S8+ owner who wants to enter the trendy VR niche but you didn't get the chance to participate in Samsung's pre-order incentive, you might want to check out Amazon’s latest offer for the 2017 Samsung Gear VR and controller combo.

The e-commerce site has the bundle on sale at just $89.92 down from the usual retail price of $129.99. That's a discount of $40 or 31%!

Please keep in mind that unlike with the HTC Vive or similar standalone headsets, the Gear VR needs to be paired with a compatible Samsung phone. The list of compatible handsets isn't that extensive - only the Samsung Galaxy S7/S7 edge and S8/S8+ are officially deemed as suitable.
