Aquatic ADventures: check out the first video ads for the Sony Xperia M2 Aqua

Hot out of the oven, the mid-range Sony Xperia M2 Aqua is the manufacturer's latest dust- and water-resistant device. This version of the Sony Xperia M2 is not afraid of nature's harshest elements and will most probably survive the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge, however, let's not forget that no device should be deliberately put to such an extreme test, but we digress. Sony's recent offering to the mid-range segment of the smartphone market is endowed with relatively modest hardware insides, which put it in the league of the Samsung Galaxy S5 mini, for example.

The Xperia M2 Aqua is here and the first video ads for the device are already here. Considering its nothing-to-write-home-about hardware specs, it comes to absolutely no surprise that Sony emphasizes on the IP65/IP68 dust- and water-resistant ratings of the device. From surviving a water spill to being used underwater in the swimming pool, the video ads for the M2 Aqua showcase a number of cases in which the ingress protection of the mid-ranger protects it from "drowning".
