Apple Store employees start training for Apple Watch launch in April

Apple Store employees start training for Apple Watch launch in April
According to the latest report, Apple has started training employees at brick and mortar Apple Stores throughout the world as the eagerly awaited wearable gets ready for its April launch. The company is planning on giving hands-on training to some select employees. Since Apple is considering the timepiece is to be part jewelry in addition to being part technology, it needs to be sold in a different manner than other Apple devices, especially the high-end watches.

As we mentioned last week, Apple is adding a large safe to each Apple Store where the gold versions of the Apple Watch will be stored. The safes will be equipped with Apple's MagSafe chargers so that the watches will be all powered up and ready to be shown to customers the next day.

The section of the Apple Store that sells the more expensive gold edition of the Apple Watch will probably resemble a jewelry store more than the traditional Apple Store. You might see glass displays and a lot more security. While the Apple Watch Sport will be priced at $349, other models are expected to be priced in the thousands. Back in September, one analyst said that we should expect the 18K gold/sapphire version of the watch to start at $5000!  As a result, you might also see a different type of crowd hanging out at the Apple Stores once the timepieces are released.

Hopefully the training goes smoothly and employees will be able to make shopping for the device a pleasant experience.

That's the most stupid comment I ever heard. Why you ask? The Apple watch is only available to Apple fans!

You dont have to be a fan of apple to own apple products. So its not a stupid comment.

well the training should only take 20 min lol but no really it should not take more than 1 hour if you don't have tech knowledge to understand what's going on and how to make it happen its a pointless device. the masses won't except it

Good guy apple was kind enough to wait for s6 and then new sammy watch called orbis. This is so pathetic. I love how they gave samsung time to develop and come up with a direct answer to apple watch. They'll have been developing for 6 months since it was shown to the public. I can bet it'll be still bugged out as hell.

What have you been smoking? Samsung would make the "Orbis" with or without the Watch. The smartwatch party has been quite populated before Apple arrived, and has been dominated by Samsung. Besides, it's not like these two watches are direct competitors. These are just fortifications for either company's ecosystem. Sure you can't expect Apple users to buy the Gear watches but it could make them think about switching brands. Same goes to Apple Watch for Samsung users.

Yeah, well, hmm... The truth is that the rumored rotating bezel of the Orbis sounds an awful lot like the digital crown of the Watch. It's pretty certain that Samsung would want to follow the round hype of the Moto 360 and the G Watch R, but I doubt whether they'd come up with the rotating bezel before they had seen the digital crown from Apple.

Somebody remind this guy that Samsung's rotary bezel patent was filed in 2013.

Actually Samsung had the pattern for the orbis back before the apple watch was shown so understand apple will copy everything and anything from others to make the watch sell for super high price and people will still not buy it

It's crazy the hype an Apple branded product creates, even when we have sexier, more functional smartwatches on the market already. One should really hate Apple only because of the power it exercises over people's minds and how it makes all people be the same. It's already bad when everyone has just the same one smartphone, but if this extends to a fashion item like a watch, then the problem of melting into uniformity will be taken to a new level.

Sexier is relative, but explain to me how other watches are more functional? I have my coffee waiting on an answer.

They last for more than 1 day for a start and the screen can be on more then a day also, that's the 1st function, crap the gear from 2013 lasts with the screen on for more then a day, good look doing that on your Apple goods

I'm having a coffee while giving you the answer. Though it's given already. Battery life will be apparently pretty bad.
