Android 6.0 beta update rolling out to some Galaxy Note 5 units in the US
According to a leaked Android update roadmap for Samsung devices that was tipped to us not long ago, the Galaxy S6 and Note 5 had their Android 6.0 Marshmallow software in testing, and the official rollout was scheduled to begin this quarter. What actually began last month, is that Samsung announced an official beta testing program for Marshmallow on the AT&T Galaxy S6 edge (SM-G925A), AT&T Galaxy Note 5 (SM-N920A), Verizon Galaxy S6 edge (SM-G925V), and Verizon Galaxy S6 edge+ (SM-G928V).

Fast forward two weeks, and some of the Note 5 users that were approved for the Android 6.0 Marshmallow beta, are now being seeded the software, and hopefully the official update for the rest won't be far behind. Those users have started sharing screenshots from the beta, which you can see below, and that largely correspond with screengrabs we've seen from earlier releases

The notification bar area, which was arguably the biggest eyesore of TouchWiz, has now received a white theme with light blue accents, and the beta testers report how the whole interface, as well as the keyboard, have become faster and more responsive, thanks to this new TouchWiz on Marshmallow combo. The new version is rather hefty at 1.35 GB, and those who signed for the beta should be receiving instructions how to get Samsung's update software by email already.
