Android 5.0 Lollipop leaks for the Sprint Samsung Galaxy S5 (G-900P), already available for download
We've already seen Samsung's current and former flagships run Android 5.0 Lollipop with TouchWiz atop - the Samsung Galaxy S5 and Galaxy S4, respectively - in a couple of video previews, not to mention the numerous screenshots that are already available for our viewing pleasure. Although the official firmwares will certainly not land on said devices very soon, it was just a matter of time before someone leaked the Lollipop firmware in question to the vast hordes of fans of these devices.

Well, we have not yet caught a sniff of the TouchWiz-esque variation of Android 5.0 Lollipop for the Galaxy S4, but fortunately for the fans of the Galaxy S5, the Lollipop firmware for one of the versions of the device - the Sprint one (SM-G900P) - has been just leaked at XDA. That said, it should be mentioned that this firmware won't run on run properly on any other version of the handset.

Being the early, unofficial build it is, the firmware surely flaunts a surplus of bugs and issues, but then again, some of the most important functionalities (calls, messaging, and internet) are reportedly working as intended. If you are eager to jump on the Lollipop bandwagon, head on to the source link, backup all of your data, and make sure you know exactly what you're about to do.

Tread lightly, uninitiated Galaxy S5 fans!

It looks quite okay. I just don't like green accent colour

Yup me too. Hopefully we'll get the option to change themes. They also need to change those icons but I guess they can be changed via an app update. Anyways, its just a lollipop update the real UI update will come when TouchWiz is upgraded in S6. This was the same case with S2 they didn't receive the new UI update which S3 received inspite of receiving an android version update.

Its colorful, its definitely touchwiz. but somehow the white theme maybe a battery disadvantage for AMOLED screens just like the Nexus 6.

If this has leaked in and is nearly ready, maybe it is will be ready sooner than we think. The only obstacle is the carriers.

Yea it's always been the carriers. Samsung actually updates there phone pretty darn quick. It's just carriers take another 2 months. Sprint and Tmbile at least aren't delaying updates as much as Att or even worse Verizon

I have Android 5.0 Lollipop in my Nexus 4 and is giving me problems. Is not able to connect anymore to a computer to move or transfer files. Windows (7) no longer recognizes it as connected. Windows indicates having problems with the USB device and blocks it from being able to connect. (Used to work perfectly before upgrading).
