Activate Samsung Pay on your Galaxy Note5 or Galaxy S6 edge+ and receive a free gift from Sammy
Because Samsung Pay supports retailers with NFC based POS systems, and those using Magnetic Secure Transmissions (MST), about 90% of the world's retailers can handle the mobile payment service. MST works with any retailer that swipes credit cards, which means that unlike Apple Pay and Android Pay, Samsung Pay already works nearly everywhere.

Samsung is offering a free gift to those with the Samsung Galaxy Note5 or Samsung Galaxy S6 edge+ who add at least one credit card to Samsung Pay. Activate the mobile payment service on either phone with a credit card, and Sammy will send you a free flip case, or a free wireless charger. The deal ends on October 11th.

To claim your prize, when you activate a card, click on the "more" link in the top right hand corner of the screen. Tap on "announcements" and then "Samsung Pay Activation Offer." Right now, the only cards that are compatible with Samsung Pay are American Express, Bank of America, Citi card, or US Bank card.

Available in South Korea since late August, Samsung Pay was used on over $30 million of transactions during its first month in operation. The service launched in the U.S. on September 28th.
