Windows 10 Mobile update comes to AT&T's Nokia Lumia 830

If you're an AT&T subscriber who owns the Nokia Lumia 830, we have some good news for you. Installing the Upgrade Advisor app on your phone and tapping on the "enable" box, will allow you to receive the OTA update to Windows 10 Mobile. Yes, this is the day that you thought would never come.

First things first. You need to install Upgrade Advisor on your Lumia 830. Once the files are sent OTA to your phone, you can choose to postpone the update or have it downloaded and installed immediately. You will need to be on a Wi-Fi connection to load Windows 10 Mobile, and we suggest that you have your batteries fully charged before starting the updating process.

If you're the impatient type, you can try to coax the update out manually by going to Settings > Phone Update > Check for update. Keep in mind that your phone must have the latest software update loaded before you install Windows 10 Mobile. If your curious, the Lumia 830 originally launched during the fourth quarter of 2014.
