What we do know is that the phone will have a 5 inch 1080 x 1920 screen and a 441ppi pixel density. Under the hood is the quad-core 1.5GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Pro APQ8064 processor with the Adreno 320 GPU working on the graphics. 2GB of RAM is on board and the 16GB of internal storage can be expanded with the 64GB capacity microSD slot. The rear facing 13MP camera captures video in 1080p while the 2MP camera up front takes self-portraits and supports video chats. Android 4.1.2 is installed out of the box.

Switching back to the Sony Xperia Z for a second, let's hope it fares better than the handset that received the most attention at last year's CES. Can you remember which phone that was? The Motorola DROID BIONIC.

you misunderstood him.......by using the word "also" he just meant that except the differences listed above it ALSO has an IR blaster.....

Strange because flagman is Z but for some reasons not Z has bigger battery and IR Blaster but ZL... Sad. :(

Last years CES was 2012 not 2011. We are now in 2013 not 2012. So is that an error?
