*Update* the pics are confirmed to be fake :(

Hey-ho, whaddaya know! The rumor that a number of Nexus phones might be appearing from each manufacturer for the 5th anniversary of Android, might have legs, after all.

After the LG Nexus 4, which already got previewed completely in a prototype form, we had rumors for an HTC Nexus X, a Samsung Galaxy Nexus 2, and now for the first time we are seeing a claimed Sony Nexus X picture leaking out on Picasa.

At least the claims are that this is a Sony Nexus device, which, as every rumor goes, should be taken with a grain of sodium chloride. The back says Google indeed, though it might be an elaborate render, yet we are keeping our hopes high to learn more about such a device soon.

The way this new Nexus program seems set, this could very well be a rebranded Xperia T with stock Android, just like the LG Nexus 4 appears to be a reworked Optimus G.

Thanks for the tip, Fayez!

Pure Edge2Edge screen and design. Looks Sexy Stylish and concept. With no ugly curves like the S3 and iPhone.

maybe maybe not.

in an interview, sprint's ceo didn't even consider sony as a major manufactuer... sprint doesn't like sony from all i heard

i can guarantee this is coming to at&t and maybe verizon(hope google learned their lesson)

i don't care about what carrier it comes on, i just hope carriers don't try to lock it down(or lock the bootloader) or load bloatware, or hold back updates

then it wouldn't even be a nexus device anymore, just an an android phone with stock android

Screen might be good but you can bet that every other piece of hardware will be junk.

No, Google is really holding LG's hand through the Nexus deal. If it really was a piece of junk, Google wouldn't allow it to be released.

That's just the prototype version. The released one won't be 8GB.

Are you telling that all rectangle phone look like lumia phone to you.

what do you want ?

Apple complain about about rounded corner.

Now you think that rectangle or sharp edge phone look like lumia.

Well, I think lumia look like Sony because before Lumia Sony already producing rounded corner phone.

May be you have to suggest how should a phone look like ........Circle or Hemisphere.......Triangle, Cylinder ........

the companies should combine the look of the

and i think to give a patent only 4 a shape is silly and stupid :-)
