Second Samsung NYC event is planned for May 24th - possibly related to the Galaxy Tab

This time around though, there is no mention of any carriers in the invitation, which leads us to believe it could be potentially something that will affect all carriers. Specifically, it could potentially be the Samsung Galaxy Tab – both the newer versions of the 10.1” and 8.9” models. It’s quite credible that the Android 3.0 Honeycomb tablets might be announced since Samsung has mentioned previously that the 10.1” model would go on sale starting June 8th.
Alternatively, we could very well see the Samsung Galaxy S II being the focal point of the event as well, even though it’s starting to roll out in Europe. In fact, they could pull off the same strategy they used for the original Samsung Galaxy S last year, where they announced that all four major domestic carriers would be receiving their very own unique version.
Nevertheless, we’ll be there either way to find out what it’s all about! And you never know, maybe David Beckham might be around for the festivities?

I hope it's actually the S II. It's actually close to when the original galaxy s was announced albeit a month earlier.
