Samsung Mesmerize finally receives its dose of Gingerbread

In the past, we’ve seen the handset receiving its fair share of software updates consisting of bug fixes and enhancements, but this latest one is sure to knock the socks off some people since it brings forth all the wonderful things with Gingerbread. Some of the new features include the following:
- Improved power management
- User interface refinements
- More control over applications
- Improved text interface
- One-touch word selection and copy/paste

yea ok... it takes so long for us to get updates but when we get them they be super great lol!!!! come on updates aka latenesses!!!!

So when I get my Hercules, I can expect it to get ICS by late Summer 2012. If it even does(pending T-Mobile merger).

if your mad about your update call your CARRIER not samsung and yell at them. Its the carriers that have final say when updates roll on the network. US carriers SUCK.. lol

Well Verizon's main issue is that they want the phone to be perfect. If they would just let google and samsung handle it then they would have less people jumping ship. The only good thing coming out of a long overdue update is an update that isn't very buggy, it's usually pretty polished.
