Nokia N8 launching September 30

Finnish newspaper Kauppalehti was the first to hear a firm release date for Nokia's N8 smartphone. Nokia's senior communications manager told the paper that advance orders would begin shipping as soon as September 30. This is confirmed by the fact that Nokia has purchased Google AdWords for Nokia's UK web store beginning on the 23rd.
The Nokia N8 has been expectantly awaited by Nokia fans as the answer to the iPhone. With the company's struggles as of late, they need a win, and this device might be just that. With a 12 megapixel camera and an anodized aluminum housing, the N8 is boldly raising the bar. We're excited to see how it does, and we'll know more in less than a month.

I don't want an answer to the iPhone.. it's a bad phone. Why release an answer to it? I just want a spiritual successor to the lovely N82 :D

Very good point. Ok with the iPhone because the device is, what it is. Now . . a fantastic upgrade to the powerhouse N82 would be great!!!! Show me this device Nokia and I'll upgrade to it in a heartbeat.
