Meet Huawei P6 - the world's thinnest smartphone to measure the anorexic 6.18mm

Okay so 6.18mm is TOO thin. I like a balance between weight and thickness of a phone. A I call BS on the 5MP camera.

"The phone is said to be powered by a 1.5 GHz quad-core processor, have 2 GB of RAM, 8 MP camera on the back, and what seems to be a pretty resolute 5 MP front-facing cam, if the claimed specs are to be believed."
EDIT: I was talking about the FFC.

Yup, Rayan missed that one!
Considering the weight, the chassis might be Aluminium.
If not, plastic is not going to do good to the phone.

Wow, very thin indeed! 5 MP front-facing cam?? AWESOME!!
But the back of the phone kinda reminds me of my Xperia Z. But nevertheless, good luck Huawei!

Lol, what next goal will smartphone makers chase next? Thinner than 7mm is a bit over...err underdoing it. Why the hell would you want a phone to be extra thin, that just makes it more apt to snap in half in your pocket or you more likely to buy a bulky case in which to protect in whilst you carry it. Droid DNA is pretty thin and it fits well in hand and doesn't make me feel like I'm holding leaf. Phone makers need to get serious and stop being overly ridiculous, get some better battery tech so batteries last longer or figure out how to have smart actions that saves battery power when the damn phone isn't being used.
I really hate the fact that smartphones don't know when to charge themselves when left plugged in, who the hell designs these things? The phone should know not to charge unless battery power is significantly depleted even when left plugged in and should automatically run off AC when plugged in and fully charged so as to save the damned battery. I don't get rechargeable batteries when software written for it is so damn primitive and useless. It's appalling.
