Internal document point to August 28th as Froyo day for the Incredible

August 18th came and went with no word or sighting of the Android 2.2 Froyo update for the HTC Droid Incredible. Of course, there were probably some people bummed out by it, but without any official confirmation from Big Red, it shouldn't come with any surprise as we continue to see speculated dates for software updates consistently change. However, it's looking like August 27th might potentially be the date after a leaked internal screen was captured that clearly indicates the all too eventual reality. Naturally, owners will be exuberant knowing that it'll bring support for Flash 10.1 and become part of the small brethren that have it right now. Additionally, other neat goodies are expected to accompany the big update – such as 720p video recording, Mobile HotSpot functionality, and software like VZ Navigator. So let's cross our fingers and really hope that this one is true – but we'll definitely know for sure by tomorrow.

It has to be true VZW is now showing 2.2 as the operating system for the incredible.

Hope they push it out soon. I'm still running 2.1 on my Incredible.
