HTC Droid Incredible is expected to get a dose of Froyo on August 18th?

The Motorola DROID 2 has it, the DROID is getting a second serving, and the DROID X is scheduled to receive Froyo some time in early September, but what about the other non-Motorola DROID branded smartphone? Well it looks like that the HTC Droid Incredible is being kept close to the warm grace of Verizon seeing that we might witness an OTA update for Froyo being rolled out to handsets starting on August 18th. There was already confirmation from Adobe that the handset was going to receive a software update of some sort that would bring support for Flash 10.1. Naturally, it's all speculation right now until Verizon comes out with something on paper, but HTC's recent release of the Android 2.2 source code bodes well for the official update. However, we can't expect anything since we've experienced on numerous occasions on how Android updates get delayed. Nonetheless, at least there is that strong feeling of hope that will allow it to come sooner rather than later.
