Google building something in new MWC teaser site
It is looking like Google may have a pretty big announcement in the works for the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona next week. We're not really sure what it could be, but Google has put together a very nice teaser site to mark the occasion.

The site is a much more impressive version of a countdown site, which includes an evolving animation of little androids building the MWC floor display. It has already unboxed a giant android statue, and is currently in the middle of chiseling another android. There is even a slider at the bottom, which allows you to roll back the animation to see what has been happening.

There's not much to go on here. It very well could just be a countdown to MWC with nothing else involved. Google had an impressive Android showing at MWC last year, so we're expecting something similar this year. There are rumors that Google may announce the Nexus tablet at MWC, but we're not sold on that. It seems far more likely that Google would save that for Google I/O, not to mention I/O fits more with the timeline that Eric Schmidt laid out.

We're definitely excited to see what comes out of this. What do you guys think it could be?

Hopefully majel will introduce voice activation...siri is pretty pointless while I'm washing dishes or painting, must press the mic icon with the nose. Maybe Majel will be modable so we can have as an answer kitt's voice "Yes, Michael?" Or sounds from a klingon computer...can't wait

LOL, ppl are complaining about the "Hi Galaxy" thing (I think my iFans brothers are the ones that don't like it, not really Galaxy s2 users), which I think it's way better than pressing or touching something to activate it. And the "Hi TV", some people just just too negative I guess

Would it sound greedy to say jelly bean or a new Nexus!?

I think this falls under the possible things

Android at home
Google's voice assistance app
New Google TV
New android powered personal computer

Will most likely see something related with Google's purchase of that company that produced the world smallest smartphone.

"giant green robot seeks out iphone users in the crowd and eats them, little shop of horrors style"
