First Sony Xperia Z5+ promo image allegedly leaks out
Let's forget a bit about Samsung's big announcements from earlier today, and concentrate our attention on what may be the first promo image to show Sony's unannounced Xperia Z5+.

Appeared somewhere in China, said image seemingly presents a "Sony Xperia 70+", which is believed to be the Xperia Z5+. Not long ago, we heard that Sony was also readying an "Xperia 60" and an "Xperia 70" - these may be codenames for the Xperia Z5 Compact and the regular Xperia Z5.

It's said that the Xperia Z5+ could be powered by a Snapdragon 810 processor, while sporting a Quad HD (1440 x 2560 pixels) display of unknown size. Of course, this won't be Sony's first Quad HD handset, since the company already announced the Z4v, which is about to be released by Verizon Wireless in the US.

For now, there's no word on what else the Xperia Z5+ will offer. Anyway, assuming the promo image seen below is genuine, it seems that the new smartphone doesn't look too different from the Z3+ / Z4 and the Z4v.

Sony might plan to officially unveil the new Xperia Z5 line-up (including the Z5, Z5+, and Z5 Compact) next month, on September 2, at IFA 2015.

Nah, just stating facts.
Go ahead to Sony threads and you can read the frustration in Sony's model for sticking to the same design for 6 iterations of the Z series.
But stupid me, i forgot that blind fanboys can't read.

The pics are very low resolution. I think we have to wait and see the actual design. Looks like the new fingerprint scanner embedded to the side button will bring design changes on the entire frame. And honestly speaking this titanium colour with the fully black front looks pretty amazing, something that we hadn't seen until now in any other Xperia.
So the only things that remain the same are the flat glass front (I love it anyway) and the square shape (I could do with wider radiuses but its not a big deal).

In many situations people when feeling depressed starts acting in their own ways and gets frustrated over the others. Most likely this guy 'maherk' is sooooo frustrated with Note 5 announcement that he is taking it out on Sony. Poor guy, you can clearly see the desperation with his comments. Let him say whatever he wants to say otherwise he will likely to take that frustration on people near him ( most probably on his wife or children ). I just hope he doesn't beat them up.

"Most probably on his wife or children"

Lol man, you and those who liked this comment ate sick little kids. Yeah, a phone announcement had me this bad, i am also on the verge of committing suicide.

Man, you only need 1 comment dissing Sony, and in a matter of seconds, their flock of zombies will come after your soul.

In case you ve missed it, I made it clear for a while now that i am not interested what so ever in the Note 5 or the S6 Edge+, pretty satisfied with my S6 Edge and never thought for once in switching it for it's upcoming bigger brothers.
You sheeps on the other hand, have been all over the Note 5's articles dissing what is undoubtedly the best phone for this year.

I am off now, I am so frustrated that i am going home to give my family a big fat...kiss(sorry for disappointing you kiddo).

I can't believe what you just wrote..

"Man, you only need 1 comment dissing Sony, and in a matter of seconds, their flock of zombies will come after your soul."

If I recall correctly, all anyone said about the Note 5 was that it was a disappointment and they shouldn't have tossed away great features, and you went all ape s**t and started attacking anyone who disliked the Note 5 and then went on to hating on Sony.

"You sheeps on the other hand, have been all over the Note 5's articles dissing what is undoubtedly the best phone for this year."

Is saying a phone was disappointing mean we're dissing it? And, by reading your comments on this article, it seems to me that YOU'RE the one going to Xperia articles and dissing it. Note 5 was a disappointment, and by you saying its not worth the upgrade, your proving MY point. Silly troll

Not worth the upgrade from my S6 Edge ;)
Is it worth the upgrade for Note 4 users? That's a different story.
You need to work more on your reading skills.

Please, enlighten me as to why I should work on my reading skills. Learn to be less of a hypocrite, will you?

Oh, and to answer your question of "Is it worth the upgrade for Note 4 users?". It's not, as they'll be sacrificing far to much, and are getting too little in return. Don't take my word for it though, just browse through Note 5 articles and see what Note 4 owners are saying.

I saw the same comments that was posted a 6 months ago, a year ago, 2 years ago, 3 years ago, etc... The same fake Samsung Galaxy owners bashing Samsung's latest. Then when the phone is released, proving to once again that it is the best Android selling smartphone by miles.

And regarding your reading skills, I did point out that it isn't worth the upgrade from MY S6 Edge. People who are looking to upgrade are Note 4 owners, and for me it's a different story, it is worth the upgrade imo.

And if sd card slots and removable batteries dectate how great a device is, then you would've seen the G4 on top of sales charts. But guess what, it's your worst nightmare, the S6 is still the best android selling decice.

You're absolutely right. I mean, if ANY Samsung device owner bashes the companies latest, it automatically means they don't own one and are pretending. That logic though...

And, yet again you prove my point. You say its not worth upgrading from an S6 Edge, because its just a larger version with a pen. Same internals. Same design. Which is funny, since you bash Sony for recycling their design. Blind fanboy much?

To finish it all off, the only reason the G4 isn't doing well is because of the poor build quality, larger form factor, weaker CPU, and no DDR4 RAM. If it had the build quality of the Note 4, along with the features specified, it would be a different story. And either way, the G4 is going to sell more than the Note 5 and Edge Plus combined.

Why would it be my worst nightmare that the S6 is the best selling Android device? Their profits are crumbling, and Chinese phones are taking over. Looks like the Note 5 is your worst nightmare ;)

This design has been used on 2 Samsung models now, where as Sony has used the EXACT same design for 6 iterations of the same model, and tens of other models. Same right??

And Samsung's profits are crumbling?? Lmao
Did you check your beloved Sony's profits? They are inked with red. Your fanboyism has no freaking limits kiddo. And your hypocrisy is even worst, in one comment dissing Samsung, then complementing it in another, and mocking the Note 5 in a comment and jumping out of joy because for you it is a disappointment, then feeling sad and bad because it disappointed you.
Make your freaking mind, and stop being a little hypocrite just for the sake of fishing for them green likes.

Recycling the same arguments I used on you lol, you're pulling a Note 5 (if you get what I'm alluding too).

Yes, Samsung's mobile profits ARE crumbling. I could give you links for proof. I can also give links to articles stating that Sony's mobile division actually broke a profit, meaning sales are rising, while Samsungs are declining.

And please provide links where I bashed the Note 5. Saying it was a disappointment and saying Samsung pulled a Z3+ isn't bashing. It's stating the truth. Like I said in other articles, yes, the Note 5 is the best phablet on the market. But that doesn't mean it isn't flawed. And that doesn't mean it isn't a disappointment.

Right now I am on an LG g3. This phone is the buggiest laggiest piece of crap I've ever used. My note 4 demolishes it, my HTC m8 was lightyears ahead. Hell the Motorola Razr M I'm kicking around is better! LG's phones are cheap plastic pieces of crap! Plastic doesn't have to be a bad thing Motorola proved that Nokia proved that. The LG phones are just cheap, cheap and buggy. It is a lesson that Samsung learned which is why all their phones are glass and metal now. But LGs are still cheap feeling looking plastic and slow and buggy. Samsung piss you off? Don't go to LG, you'll find nothing but disappointment!

Went from the M8 to the G3 because everyone was raving about it traded it back for an M8 in less than a month, everything from touchscreen precision and response, to UI responsivenes and battery were so much better on the M8 that it ruined the G3 for me.
The camera was nice tho, but that's about it.

Delusional, thats what you need to be, to defend Sony.

Terrible huge bezels.

Bellow average displays, which never got fixed.

Average camera, despite using high end sensors.

Same design, years and years....

The only good thing, is their software.

True that. I always mistake my S6 Edge with my friend's iPhone 6. Damn you Samsung, stop copying Apple, 1st it was the phablet concept, then their smartwatch.

You have to admit though, everything Apple does, Samsung follows. At least Sony is original.

I do admit that.
It does suck that Samsung had to wait for Apple to offer QHD flexible amoled screens, fast charging, wireless charging, F1.9 front and rear camera sensors, 14nm processors, and many more, for them to finally copy them into the S and Note series.

Do any of you guys work in a phone or wireless store? Apple did not make the first smart watch and many Chinese have been making Phablets for Asian consumers for a few years, and Samsung had been making parts for Apple for years (but Apple has switched recently), so of course they would copy Apple. It's hard to compete with a company, although a pioneer, but lacks in a lot of functionality. Apple is the greatest example of a product, great product but not the best, and how the masses flock to it for what they perceive as a mere Social Status symbol. In my experience with wireless sales, I find that Motorola has the worst software issues, next is Apple and it's iCloud, and then Samsung. I agree with you guys, I used to be a Samsung guy, but now I lean towards HTC. Yes, the company going down, but they make a phone that actually works with the M8 and M9 series. Yes, they are not "popular" but I have only had one M8 come in with any software and program issues. The only thing is, I don't know if the company will be around long enough to keep supporting the software... I love my iPad, but the phones, they haven't really had any breakthrough since they pioneered the Smartphone. The iPhone 6 is a flattened iphone 5S and STILL has an 8MP Camera. My rep and some leaks confirm a 12MP in the new iphone. That's still behind most of the newer phones.

i agree, most of their phones self-crack too and it's high time they changed their design.

I must admit that I've been a Sony fan since the Z1, but this HTC design theory (recycle, recycle, recycle) is getting out of hand
