32GB Asus Transformer Prime now available at Office Depot

Well, it seems that office supply retailer Office Depot has the Asus Transformer Prime in stock. Actually, to be more specific, only the 32GB variant is available, but who is complaining? The price is $499.99, but don't plan on walking into your local Office Depot location to pick up the tablet. Office Depot is making the NVIDIA Tegra 3 powered tablet available online only. And if you neatly write out 856155942 for the coupon code, they will throw in a free digital camera so you can take oodles of pictures of your brand new quad-core tablet.

I received the Prime from Best Buy this week and it is a very nicely built piece of machinery. The quac-core processor makes multitasking smooth and very nice. The browser performance was the same as a dual core processor. When ICS comes out than it will most likely improve and show the tablets true performance. My opinion buy only if you are sure that this will be good enough to handle what the the competition has to offer in the upcoming months. I must say the touch screen seemed a little off.

I ordered my TP from Best buy on 12-24 and was given a delivery date of 12-26. Then I get an e-mail from UPS saying it won't arrive until 1-06-12. It left California on 12-27 at 7:03pm. It was checked in on 12-30 at 2:32am at Mesquite , Texas where it still sits. It has taken four days to go from California to Texas. It still has to get to Loiuisiana. This is extremely slow shipping. Best buy needs to find a better shipping company. Sorry for the complaining as I should be thankful it is at least in the mail but I want it and I want it now! It make me sad that it's just sitting there.
