Xreal One Pro AR glasses go on sale as fascinating “Real 3D” update nears launch
There's never been a better time to snag yourself a pair of the Xreal One Pro AR glasses, especially with the Real 3D update that's right around the corner.
The Xreal One, Xreal One Pro, and the new Xreal 1S AR glasses are about to receive a fascinating “Real 3D” update on January 23, aimed at converting anything to 3D. To celebrate this occasion, Xreal is also running a limited time promotion for the One Pro, so that newcomers can jump into the industry without breaking the bank.

The Real 3D update, which will be an OTA (over the air) firmware update on January 23, will bring 2D to 3D conversion to, apparently, everything. Xreal claims that the X1 chip on its glasses will allow for instant conversion of any content into a 3D viewing experience.
Fascinatingly, Real 3D will not require any additional apps or software, let alone extra hardware. Anything that is compatible with Xreal’s glasses can have its standard 2D output converted into 3D just by the glasses themselves.
Gaming can be improved to run with real depth, and movies can be transformed into actual cinema-level experiences on the giant virtual screens that you can project anywhere at any time. Even browsing social media can be converted into a 3D experience that will look and feel a lot more interesting than your standard everyday internet surfing.

As mentioned before, Xreal is running a limited time promotion for the Xreal One Pro glasses. Whether you’re a newcomer to XR (Extended Reality), or you’re looking for the next best purchase, the Xreal One Pro are a good choice, especially at a discount.
The promotion will be live from January 19 to February 1, and the Xreal One Pro are down to $599 from the usual $649. As is often the case, the deal is live for U.S. customers only. You can order the Xreal One Pro at the discounted price from Xreal’s website, as well as from Amazon and Best Buy.
Xreal just keeps getting better
The Real 3D update sounds very promising to me, and I think that Xreal’s AR glasses are honestly some of the best that you can currently buy. Xreal keeps pushing excellent glasses with great software, and the company has a really strong chance of taking on Meta directly when the latter launches its own consumer-grade AR smart glasses in 2027.
These AR glasses, along with features like Real 3D, will also hopefully push more consumers towards the XR industry. You haven’t lived until you’ve played your favorite video game on a 110-inch screen floating in the middle of your room, and that just sounds like such a more interesting alternative to smartphones.
