All three telcos offer the new iPhone Duo and Verizon is among them, of course. Despite the ongoing Crackgate—some units of the first foldable iPhone get a cracked display without applying extra abuse—the demand for the Duo is super strong. The problem is that Apple and its partners can't produce enough units at the moment and we'll have to wait several weeks, or even months before everybody (who wants one) has the Duo in their hands.
The phone itself is a bit polarizing: some already enjoy it but downplay its importance. The Duo fans push back hard.
The OP (original poster) says that they've been using the iPhone Duo for "two days now" and "the novelty has already started to wear off". They note that the Duo is perfect for gaming and its inner screen is suitable for the Nintendo emulator.
The OP continues with an asterisk and notes that people will be using the outer (smaller) screen "most of the time" for quick tasks. Thus, the big inner screen will be opened mostly when at work or at home. When one is out and about, the author argues, the outer screen will be used 90% of the time.

That, however, doesn't stop people from going in the opposite direction. The majority of commenters say they absolutely love the iPhone Duo and they think it's a great—revolutionary, even—device:

Yes, people admire their folding iPhone. But it's not easy getting one these days. Another Redditor says they switched from AT&T to Verizon and, at the end of the process, asked for an iPhone Duo. Verizon's reps, though, told them the Duo would be available at the end of December. Bummer!
"At least my phone bill is half the price now", that commenter says.
