We asked how you felt about all of that, and the results are now in.
Fans already have a clear favorite

We asked you if Samsung's decision to keep the display tech supplied by its sister company makes the upcoming Galaxy S27 more appealing. While as many as 919 users voted, the results were almost too close to call.
41.02% of you said the Galaxy S27 Ultra will be the only worthwhile option in the entire lineup.
This doesn't come as a big surprise. After all, Samsung has historically kept the biggest upgrades and the fanciest features for its Ultra flagship each year. Even though the company releases three Galaxy S models each year (and is expected to launch four in 2027), the Ultra traditionally receives the most attention precisely due to the major upgrades.
Does this make the Galaxy S27 more appealing to you?
The big problem
The second most popular option, with 40.48% of all voters supporting it, indicates fans still care a lot about the price. Apparently, many of you think the Galaxy S27's value will be determined not by which manufacturer supplies the display but by its asking price.
Recommended For You
Since the RAMaggedon is still ongoing, it's impossible to determine whether the Galaxy S27 will debut at the same $899.99 asking price as the S26.
Initially, it was expected that including a BOE screen would help the tech giant keep production costs relatively manageable, possibly allowing it to avoid a price increase.
However, if Samsung Display supplies the panels for the "vanilla" flagship, it could result in a slight price surge after all.
What the rest of you think
Readers voted for these two options more than any other, but that doesn't mean the other two results went without anyone supporting them. The poll reveals 10.34% of fans would buy the Galaxy S27 even if it came with a BOE screen.
This could be interpreted in two ways. For some, display quality may simply not be the deciding factor. Alternatively, it could suggest the "vanilla" model has an unquestionable fanbase that's willing to upgrade regardless of who supplies the panel tech.
Finally, only 8.16% think that using Samsung Display instead of BOE makes the S27 more attractive. Those voters also say they can't wait to get one.
Clearly, these readers think Samsung-made displays on flagship Samsung phones are a must. However, this poll result claimed less than 10% of all votes, showing that panel tech really isn't the deciding factor for the majority of potential buyers.
Here's what I lean to
However you look at it, the Galaxy S26 Ultra is the most premium of them all. | Video by PhoneArena
The "vanilla" Galaxy S remains Samsung's most compact flagship phone. This adds to its appeal, undoubtedly, but I'm still not convinced about the overall value.
Like most of you, I expect the Ultra to be the star of the show next year. If Samsung once again reserves the best features for its most premium device, it's really hard to see how the "vanilla" will offer the stronger value.
