Geekbench listing reveals the muscle inside

The global version of the recently released OnePlus Turbo 6 series packs a Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 (codenamed ‘sun’) processor, according to a Geekbench listing. The device (model CPH2795) has achieved a single-core performance of 2,019, while its multi-score sits significantly high at 6,503.

The listing also reveals the upcoming mid-range device will run on OxygenOS 16, based on Android 16. Memory details have also been released: 10.93GB. This will likely be marketed as 12GB RAM, in line with OnePlus’ recent releases.
Given the performance insights and the OS version, it’s more than safe to assume that this mid-ranger will actually compete with some higher-end options rather well.
In case you missed it, OnePlus released the Turbo 6 in China earlier in January, highlighting a massive 9,000mAh battery under the hood. It’s believed that the global rebrand, labelled the Nord 6, will arrive with the same battery. However, nothing is set in stone yet.
Bound for success?
Additional details posted via Gadgetsdata on X reveal other expected specs that certainly look exciting. The highlights include a 165Hz display and a 50MP main camera.

A fresh take on things
In an era where brands are getting more and more focused on AI tricks, OnePlus seems to be taking a different approach. It focuses on what matters for the average user: long battery life, good performance, all within a reasonable price.
For one thing, I’m certainly hoping the OnePlus Nord 6 gets to see the light of day soon because it sounds like a pretty value-packed option.
