New set of leaked Pixel 11 marketing images reveals Google's real selling point

Renowned leaker Evan Blass has posted what look like official Google marketing images for the Pixel 11, about two weeks out from the August 12 Made by Google event. Next to the Pixel 10 Pro XL the hardware looks familiar, so the software Google put on screen is the more telling part for anyone comparing the best Pixel phones.

A fresh set of Pixel 11 images

The set covers the base Pixel 11 in four finishes that match names from earlier leaks: Fuchsia, Light Sterling, Midnight Haze and Moss. The camera island appears to be the same raised pill the Pixel 10 uses, carrying three lenses, a small sensor window and the flash.



What stands out is the tagline on the lead image, which reads "with Gemini Intelligence" rather than the Google AI wording Google has leaned on until now.

Google is selling software this year, not a new shape

Gemini Intelligence isn't a rumor. Google announced it back in May as an umbrella name for its more capable AI features on premium Android hardware, covering things like smarter autofill and an upgraded voice-to-text mode in Gboard.

The most interesting frame in the set is a card that reads like Gemini pulled travel recommendations out of an email, mapped them, and built a day-by-day itinerary from them. Floating Maps, Calendar and Messages icons sit around it, which suggests Gemini is meant to act across those apps rather than answer questions inside its own.

Another frame shows a Google Messages reply that reads like tidied-up speech, with an undo control sitting in the keyboard toolbar. That matches the Gboard voice mode Google described in May, where you speak loosely and the phone cleans it up after.

Gemini Intelligence is rolling out on premium Samsung phones too, so what the Pixel offers here is timing and integration rather than exclusivity.

What the images point to for everyday use

One frame carries a plain "30x" label over a zoomed crop, which matters because the base Pixel 10 tops out at 20x Super Res Zoom. That would be a real jump on Google's cheapest flagship.

Here's what this set of leaks points to, going only by what's visible in the images:

• A 30x zoom ceiling on the base model, up from 20x on the Pixel 10
• Gemini pulling details out of Gmail and into Maps and Calendar on its own
• Cleaned-up voice typing inside Google Messages, with an undo control
• Gemini Live answering questions about whatever the camera is pointed at

Our Pixel 10 review found the base model already handed you roughly 90% of the Pro experience for a lot less money, and this set suggests Google is leaning on that same idea again.

The one thing I want proven on August 12

Marketing images are a company telling you what it wants you to care about, so it's fair to read this set as Google positioning the Pixel 11 as an AI phone before it's anything else. That's a reasonable bet if the features hold up.

Still, I have watched enough polished AI demos age badly to want this one shown live instead of rendered. I'm hoping August 12 proves the cross-app work holds together outside a marketing image, because that's the one job I would love to stop doing by hand.
