The compact Motorola Edge (2026) is more appealing than ever at its first good discount
For the first time since its June US debut, the 6.3-inch Motorola Edge (2026) can be purchased at a nicely reduced price with no special requirements.

In addition to the Razr Fold, the Motorola Edge (2026) is also on sale at an outright discount with no strings attached for the first time, dropping from a $599.99 list price to only $499.99. This deal definitely comes at a very opportune time for Motorola, mind you, as Google's Pixel 10a jumped from a $499 regular price to $599 just last week.
Granted, the stock Android-running 6.3-inch mid-ranger is very likely to receive a hefty discount of its own during Amazon's second big Prime Day sale of the year, while the Motorola Edge (2026) is bizarrely not available at the e-commerce giant at any price at the time of this writing, so a member-exclusive promo for it seems out of the question.
Compared to its 2025 predecessor, the Edge (2026) is smaller, sporting 6.3 inches of screen real estate instead of 6.7, but also more powerful, packing a MediaTek Dimensity 7450 processor in lieu of a Dimensity 7400 Ultra. The cameras are largely unchanged, but remarkably enough, both the product weight and thickness are substantially reduced despite the battery capacity only going down from 5,200 to 5,000mAh.
All in all, you're clearly looking at a very interesting budget 5G phone here with a decidedly compact (by 2026 standards) but also extremely durable (and stylish) body, and as long as you can get it at a lower price than the similarly sized Pixel 10a (with no membership or other special requirements), you should strongly consider pulling the trigger. Or you can wait for the start of the Prime Day fall event and make sure you're receiving the best bang for your buck.
