Recently marked down by as much as $200 with absolutely no strings attached, the Motorola Edge (2025) is currently a whopping $200 more affordable than its 2026 successor (at its own October Prime Day discount), and while the newer model is of course better in a few key departments, the older edition surprisingly holds a number of major advantages as well.
I'm talking first and foremost about screen real estate, as the Motorola Edge (2026) made its commercial debut with an unexpectedly compact 6.3-inch panel in tow a few months back, but perhaps even more shockingly, the considerably cheaper and older device also comes with more internal storage space. Specifically, 256 gigs of local digital hoarding room compared to only 128GB on the Edge (2026), which is clearly a direct consequence of this year's "chipflation" phenomenon.
Whatever the cause, it's pretty obvious that a lot of bargain hunters this holiday shopping season will enjoy the value proposition of the Motorola Edge (2025) a lot more... as long as you manage to take advantage of the handset's unprecedented $250 discount. After all, the phone could go out of stock before Amazon's 48-hour Prime Big Deal Days 2026 sale concludes, so unless you can find a better product at a similar or lower price (which you absolutely cannot), you should hurry up and pull the trigger ASAP here.
